Sprinkler System Repair / Maintenance

Aeration
Regular core aeration means the difference between an environmentally healthy & thriving lawn versus a stressed-out & tired looking lawn. Regular foot traffic, mowing and irrigation contribute to soil compaction. Lawns established on heavy clay soils, such as in our region, suffer even more. Regular core aeration rejuvenates your lawn by reducing soil compaction, enhancing thatch breakdown, increasing water permeability, and as a result, stimulating deeper & more extensive grass root growth. This enhanced root growth, will result in greater heat and drought stress tolerance, since a more extensive & deeper root system is better equipped to extract moisture & nutrients from the soil. |
Fertilization
For a NOTICEABLY LUSH lawn, we recommend a fertilization treatment at the time of aeration. The Spring treatment is designed to encourage green top growth, whereas the Fall treatment is specially designed to boost root growth. You will notice that a lawn which receives both treatments will stay greener well into the cold weather, and will green up faster in the spring. Spring growth will be greener, heavier, and over time will require less water due to the more extensive root system. |
